Why do not guess that the Higgs boson should be the same particle responsible for the gravity? In that case we can call the Higgs boson and the gravity particle of Graviton. Make all sense to think that they are the same elusive particle. If gravity is linked to mass and if the Higgs boson confers mass to the matter they should have some relationship.
